Wayne BurkeWayne Burke, CIO SecureIA and Founder, is a captain of a global operating group of penetration testers and security experts. Wayne and his group have delivered assignments and customized training for Law Enforcement, Police, various Military Units, NSA, FBI, EPA and similar government bodies from South America, Africa, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and numerous Gulf locations to name a few from around the world. His office has become his next 12 hour international flight….

In Europe he works for numerous government agencies, corporate institutes and the military. Wayne is the creator of many popular security training tracks and has built the Certified Penetration Testing™ series. Wayne has had considerable IT Security experience in the fields of: Penetration Testing aka Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics and Wireless Technologies.

His experience in the public / defense sectors is equally complemented by assignments undertaken for heavyweight world renowned corporations including Yahoo, Xerox, AT&T and Texas Instruments to name but a few. He is imminently qualified in his field in that he holds a string of professional qualifications in Networking to name a few (MCT, MCSE, Cisco, Network+) and IT Security (CIW Security Analyst , Security+, CEH, ECSA /LPT, CHFI, CPTS, CPTE) besides a bachelor’s degree in science. He is also part of the Expert Team of Master EC Council Certified Instructors.

Shon Harris

Shon Harris - CISSP, MCSE, is a security consultant, a former engineer in the Air Forces Information Warfare Unit, an instructor, an author, and President of Logical Security. She has written two best selling CISSP books, and co-authored Hacker's Challenge and Gray Hat Hacking. Shon has developed a new security book series, being published by McGraw-Hill, which will be sold to corporations, universities, colleges, and professionals throughout the world.

This series will set the new standards in security training, education, and industry practices. Shon has taught computer and information security to a wide range of clients including RSA, Department of Defense, Department of Energy, National Security Agency (NSA), Bank of America, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), BMC, and more. Shon was recently recognized by Information Security Magazine as one of the top 25 women technologists, researchers and executives reshaping information security today.

Ken Mayer

Ken Mayer is a senior Security consultant with law enforcement background and also a Certified Security Instructor for SIA. Ken is also a He started his career in computer technology in 1980s. He has conducted a wide variety of IT training and numerous high level security consulting projects for Fortune 500 companies across the United States and Western Europe. He has achieved the Certified Cisco Systems Instructor certification. The CCSI certification involved a two-day lab and observation event held at Cisco in the Paris, France Facility. This gave Ken the accreditation to be able to deliver Cisco Authorized Courses as a CCSI. He has taught the full line of Cisco CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP and CCIP course curriculums, including Cisco's security appliances such as PIX and IDS.

 

David Miller

David R. Miller (MCT, MCSE: Security Windows Server 2003, MCSE Windows 2000 and NT 4.0, CISSP, CEH, ECSA, LPT, CWNA, CCNA, CNE, CompTIA Security+, A+, N+) is a Technical writer, trainer, author, curriculum developer, network engineer.
Due to his tough, technical, yet enjoyable presentation style, students often describe David as a cross between a drill instructor, a great network engineer and a stand-up comedian. David continues to perform as a network engineering consultant while being an instructor to maintain a professional, yet hands-on, sharpness.

He has been working with Shon Harris, best selling author of CISSP fame, for the last several years as Director of Training for Logical Security, LLC. There he has managed several teams of curriculum developers. He acts as corporate IT Director and coordinates the development of student manuals, lab manuals and classroom setup. David is under agreement to write a book on Wireless Networking and Security in 2008, which is intended to prepare students for the CertifiedWireless Network Administrator (CWNA) and the Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) Planet3 Wireless certifications.

He is also responsible for designing, developing and managing the development of various data management and business layer components of multi-tiered e-commerce based applications using J2EE, .NET, ColdFusion, CFMX, SQL and web service technologies.

Beyond his full time job, he gets great pleasure from writing IT Security educational material while wrestling with his family members.

His speciality is not only as a Crypto Analyist, but also as a Penetration Tester, Digital Forensics Expert and IT evangilist. Has 14 years Information Systems Security experience working mainly in the corporate sector (seven years in banking and for the Australian Police). He is imminently qualified in Information Systems Security in that he is an MCSE, CPTP, CNSA, CCNA, CISSP, SCSA Solaris and has a Post Graduate in Electronic Crime from Melbourne University.

Moreover, Crypto Expert also has a Masters in Mathematics [Cryptosystemsl from RMIT]. In recognition of his qualifications and experience, He is often called upon by Local and Federal Police to break cryptosystems such as encrypted hard disks and files to assist Police in the collection of evidence for litigation purposes. In the corporate sector, He tests the strength of cryptosystems with financial implications such as VPN, Smart Card and HSM encryption with a view to hardening the clients' systems. His wide ranging clients include ANZ Bank, Members Equity Bank, Westpac Bank, Victoria Police and IBM.

Randy kooler, One word that describes Randy best.. enthusiasm!! Climbing the corporate ladder from the bottom rung back in 1996 when the owner of a computer rental company gave him a chance to prove himself, he’s never looked back. His main passion is teaching others what he’s learned and encouraging them to reach their potential and give individuals a chance when others might look the other way.

He has an extensive background that includes working in the banking industry as Chief Information Security Officer, being a highly sought after instructor on college campuses as well as traveling the U.S. delivering training to military, government and corporate executives. Randy offers his expertise at community events, awareness seminars, non-profit group functions, webinars, corporate training, mentored learning as well as classroom instruction.
